Although independent journey’s are possible, an agency allows both the surrogate and the intended parent(s) to enjoy to surrogacy process and leave the details to us to coordinate. Journey Surrogacy uses third parties for psychological, medical records reviews, escrow account management and background checks to ensure unbiased results for intended parents and surrogates. Chelsea Slack
Chelsea first joined the surrogacy world after her sister started undergoing treatments for infertility. She was first matched through an agency with an international family. With a desire to continue helping build families through surrogacy, she helped to grow Journey Surrogacy.Chelsea is dedicated to bridge the gap that the small and large agencies are missing. Her expertise as a match manager from being a recent surrogate is invaluable.
Onda Slack
Onda has been a business owner for over 15 years after raising her own 4 children. She possesses the strengths it takes to run a business as well as create lasting relationships, both critical in a surrogacy arrangement. She was first introduced to the surrogacy world when her daughter became a gestational surrogate for an international family. Onda was adopted at birth and understands the struggles of infertility. She is a lifetime resident of the Quad Cities. Onda uses her first-hand experience with both business ownership and surrogacy to help build families.
